Privacy Policy
Effective April 21, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Autogrowth, Inc. (“InferCut,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and discloses personal information when you use the InferCut website and service at infercut.com (the “Service”). InferCut is a project operated by Autogrowth, Inc.
For any privacy-related question or request, contact us at info@autogrowth.com.
1. Summary
InferCut is an OpenAI-compatible proxy that routes your LLM API calls through a cost-optimization layer. The bodies of your API requests and responses — prompts and completions — pass through InferCut but are not stored, logged in readable form, or used to train any model. We do keep usage metadata (token counts, timing, cost) so you can see what you spent and how much you saved.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Account information
- Email address and authentication credentials (handled by our authentication provider).
- Optional profile fields you provide during onboarding (for example: company name, use case).
2.2 Billing information
- Payment metadata processed by our payment processor (card details are handled directly by that processor and are not received or stored by InferCut).
- Transaction history: purchase amounts, dates, and credit balances.
2.3 Service-usage metadata
- API request timestamps, model identifiers, token counts, latency, HTTP status, and cost.
- The InferCut API key used for a given request.
2.4 Technical and analytics information
- IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, and referring URL.
- Pages viewed, features used, and events generated as you interact with the Service. We use product analytics and web analytics tools for this (see §9).
2.5 What we do not collect or store
- The content of your prompts or the model’s completions. Requests pass through in real time and are not retained after the response is returned.
- Your data is never used to train any machine-learning model, by us or by any third party on our behalf.
3. How we use information
- To operate the Service (authenticate you, route API calls, display dashboards, process payments).
- To compute and display your cost savings and usage.
- To communicate with you about your account, security, and product updates.
- To prevent fraud, abuse, and misuse of the Service, and to enforce our Terms of Service.
- To comply with our legal obligations.
- To improve the Service through aggregated, de-identified analytics.
4. Legal bases (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal information on the following legal bases:
- Contract — processing is necessary to provide the Service you signed up for.
- Legitimate interests — to secure the Service, prevent abuse, measure aggregated usage, and communicate transactional information.
- Consent — where required, for non-essential cookies and analytics (you can withdraw consent at any time).
- Legal obligation — to comply with tax, accounting, and regulatory requirements.
5. Categories of recipients
We share personal information with the following categories of recipients, under contract and only to the extent necessary to provide the Service:
- Authentication provider (to manage sign-in and sessions).
- Payment processor (to handle credit purchases and billing).
- Cloud hosting and database providers (to run the Service).
- LLM routing infrastructure (to execute the underlying inference calls on your behalf).
- Product-analytics and web-analytics providers (to understand aggregated usage).
- Email delivery providers (to send transactional emails such as verification and receipts).
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
6. International transfers
InferCut is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers of personal data out of the EEA/UK.
7. Retention
- Account and billing records — kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet tax, accounting, and audit obligations.
- Service-usage metadata — kept for as long as needed to operate the Service and calculate savings, and then aggregated or deleted.
- Prompt and completion content — not retained after the response is returned.
- Support communications — kept for as long as needed to resolve your inquiry and for a limited period afterward.
8. Security
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and least-privilege credentials for our engineers. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to operate the Service (for example, session and authentication cookies) and optional analytics cookies. Our analytics stack includes PostHog (product analytics) and Google Analytics (web analytics). These tools help us understand aggregated usage and improve the Service. Where required by law, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
